Road Blocks

what's really good people? Everything is everything round this way, I can't complain. I'm still on the job hunt trying to better my spot in life. I haven't found anything that pays what I'm already making hourly. everything I'm coming across is less pay for a lot more work. That don't seem like a fair trade off from what I'm doing now which is good pay for little actual work. Guess I'll keep looking till I find something in the middle. Lately I been averaging about 20hours a week and that ain't cutting it. When I first started I was getting 60hours in one week and then the rain came and then my work truck broke down and I been sharing a truck since about the beginning of February. Sharing a truck cuts the hours also. Its just been one thing after another lately. All this lack of work is killing all my plans I had for this year and we only 3 months in.

I thought I would have moved to a new place by now but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I thought have at least touched my credit report but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I thought I would have some money in my saving but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !

Don't even get me started on the Harley. I don't know when or if that's ever going to happen. Well I shouldn't make it seem like its never gonna happen but I can't see when its going to happen.

Seems like I just keep running into road blocks at every turn. My mother would say its cause I don't go to church and I need to pray more. Maybe says right. I can't remember the last time I went to church. I'm going to try to go next week, she would love to see me at church.

Via Las Vegas

Man, I ain't updated my blog in like a month. I been meaning to but I just ain't did it. Its not that I been busy or nothing. I went to Vegas a couple of weeks ago with the wife and my parents. It was a Great time except for all the walking. I'm not a walker at all.

Ain't much been going on with my lately. I been working a little bit but I'm still ready to get out of there. I hope to get a call from the place I took the drive test for a week or so ago. I have to call them back on Thursday this week.

I left like I had alot to say to when I sat down to type but I cant put it in words but I will tell you this....................... Check out Yahoo! Live if you haven't yet. Its basically yahoo chat wit Webcams. I Have seen some funny shit over the last week on there.

Drive Test!

Ok. I just got back from taking my driving test for the company I interviewed with last week. I didn't drive as well as I hoped it would at the time. I haven't driven a tractor and trailer in about a year and even then I haven't really had that much practice. The guy that I was driving around said I did ok but I think I could have done better. Now I'll just sit and wait for some type of word from the company. Luckily the sun has been out and there has been some concrete work to be done.

Went to lunch at IHOP with my cousin who we call Mac. Ihop is one of the few places that make a decent Country Fried Steak with out waiting a long line or paying out the nose for it. Country Fried Steak and French Toast owns me.

I need a hair cut badly but I been in the mood to get one. I'm not one of those guys that have an appointment to get there hair cut weekly. I don't think I have ever had my hair cut 2 weeks in a row. I normally get a cut once a month or 2 months. I'm just not really in to hair cuts. I need to figure out a way to get hair cuts on a regular basis

I dont normally do this from my Desktop computer. As much as I sit at this computer I hate typing on it. I just Surf on it doing as little typing as possible.

I just came back from a interview at All American Rentals in Newark, Ca. I think it went pretty good. I need to go back to do a driving test and a few other things before we get to the Drug test and offer for the job but I think the guy wants to hire me. He said the pay is going to be better then what I make now and the hours will be better.

Anyway. This rain has been kicking my ass. I can't wait for the sun to come out and that money get to flowing. I still ain't got around to asking for that raise I been thinking about. I ain't even been getting enough hours for it to matter. I'm about to take a pay cut just to go to another job where I don't have to worry about the weather. I did a job in the rain last week and it SUCKED. Standing in the rain just getting soaked for over a hour. I could do with out that. I don't mind working when its raining but just standing in one place getting rained on is not the business. I need to charge my camera so I can take pictures at work one day before I don't work there anymore. Its a shame cause I like that little job.

Used To Be

I've been married for a year and a half, I'm just as surprised as everyone else. I always knew I would be married one day. A lot of people say I'm not the same person I used to be and I must agree that I'm not. I used to be in these streets boy doing it live daily. All the homies miss that about me and I know I still have it in me but once you become a family man it becomes a lot to maintain. I got schedules and appointments to keep. Being a father and husband is hard work. Its only 24 hours in a day. I do miss my old life a little and since I ain't figured out a way to balance both like I want to I'll just stick with the one I got now. I'm to damn old to be playing in these streets anyway, these young thundercats ain't got shit to lose.

I'm back to work tomorrow after being off for a couple weeks. I don't like work but I'm happy to go back and get this money. I need to start reading this commercial truck drivers book I picked up around Christmas that I haven't looked at since I got it. I've had my CDL(commercial drivers license) almost 2 years now. I need to get the rest of my endorsements so I can find a better job. I think I want to drive a propane truck but who knows. Long as its 5 days a week and 12 months a year I'm wit it at this point. When I take my test for my endorsements I will have to take my test for my Class C and class A License, possibly my Class M(Motorcycle). That means I might have to take about 6-7 test in one day at the DMV.
